When kayaking

  •  Avoid going into reeds, rushes and other plants on the banks and shores, and keep sufficient distance from bird breeding grounds and nests in the water.
  •  Do not feed wild animals.
  •  Use only the designated areas to disembark.
  •  Watch animals and take photos of them only from a considerable distance, do not scare them away.
  •  Do not litter to the river, take your litter back with you.
  •  Bonfires are allowed only in designated places – please, light them safely.
  •  Camping is allowed only in designated places.
  •  Do not pick up or destroy vegetation, especially protected species, i.e. white water lily.
  •  Launching kayaks is prohibited in nature reserves.
  •  Stay quiet when on the water (do not make a noise).
  •  Do not get into the kayak after using alcohol or drugs, and do not drink alcohol while on the water.
  •  Wear a safety vest – it is not for sitting and backrest.
  •  Watch and control the water surface in front of the kayak's bow – any wrinkles, waves and whirlpools indicate various underwater obstacles that must be avoided.
  •  Get on and off the kayak with its bow upstream (against the current), always land it against the current, a more experienced or heavier person should sit on the back of a kayak.
  •  Do not panic after capsizing, tow the canoe to the bank or shore without turning it over, never let go of your oar.
  •  Take care of the equipment – do not hit the side of another kayak with your bow, do not walk and sit on the kayak, keep the kayak clean and tidy.
