PATH ADMINISTRATOR: Maskuliński Forest Inspectorate
The educational trail starts at the Royal Oaks nature monument, opposite the Seed husking mill of the Maskuliński Forest Inspectorate in Ruciane-Nida. It consists of several longer- and shorter-distance loops. The leads via a peninsula surrounded by the waters of Lake Guzianka Wielka and Lake Guzianka Mała and the forest Lake Gaik, among the old oaks and pines, lakes and wetlands. On the trail there are graphics and texts presenting insects feeding on dead wood, forms of nature protection and vegetation zones in a mid-forest lake.
