The trail of Szczytno forest defence line fortification is a unique hiking route. It allows you to admire the Pisz Forest, a beautiful panorama of Lake Zdróżno, as well as historical fortifications from 1901–1944. This is a defence line of the former East Prussia.
The trail is marked, and there are information boards with a detailed description and images next to bunkers and other interesting historical sites. The trail starts on the beach in Połom near Spychowo, where you can leave your car. The path is a loop, and you need approx. 2 hrs. to complete the entire route.
