Cultural Settlement in Kadzidłowo

Information

The Cultural Settlement in Kadzidłowo was established by Danuta and Krzysztof Worobiec and entered into the register of monuments of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It consists of seven wooden buildings moved here from the villages located in the southern part of the region and the Masurian and Kurpie region border. It includes a unique 200-year-old arcaded cottage from Warnowo (it houses a private ethnographic museum with a reconstructed apartment of a rich host and a village school), an over 100-year-old cottage from Dąbrowy (with an “Oberża pod Psem” inn), an arcaded residential and utility building (cottage from Rozogi that houses guest rooms), a farm building dated from the beginning of 20th century from the Kwiatuszki area and three small granaries (one houses a museum exhibition and the other a “banya” –– Russian steam bath). In the settlement there is also a brick residential building from the first half of the 20th century.
