The Wild Animals Park in Kadzidłowo is a private zoo established in 1992 by Andrzej Krzywiński on mid-forest meadows in the Pisz Forest. It operates as a kind of nature protection centre, and people who work there not only educate visitors but also make efforts to protect species, e.g. by the means of reintroduction. Most of the animals in the Park are tamed and friendly with humans, so you can enter their extensive runs, and even feed, pet or admire them up close. Due to the unique nature of the place and the extent area, you always need a guide to tell you about the animals, their biological features, habits and protection. The Park's patron is prof. Benedykt Dybowski, a well-known Polish naturalist and patriot. Together with a group of animals of Siberia and the Far East, the Park offers you some native species, especially those rare and endangered, to admire.
